When we experience loss or misfortune, we are subject to feeling hopeless and miserable. Loss can often be caused by a divorce, a death of a loved one, a sudden change, losing a job, and much more. Yet, instead of holding on to despair, let us not forget the hope that we can find in Jesus and God. The hardships of this life will test our ability and willingness to live and persevere to become a godly person, but we must remember God’s Word and will stand forever. We have a greater hope in heaven and eternal life, so while it is okay to grieve for a while, we cannot allow the world to hinder us from growing in faith.
