Making the right decision can be difficult, for although we know the right thing to do, we may prefer to choose what will satisfy our own desires rather than what God desires. When facing certain struggles, we may come to a crossroads of a moral dilemma and be unsure of what we should choose, what is right? What is wrong?  Such confusion may lead us to feel lost, confused, and angry at times. Yet, as believers who are intent on doing good in God’s eyes, let us look towards the Bible to receive direction and guidance from the word of God. 

Here are 100 verses regarding biblical moral instructions:

  1. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. – 2 Peter 1:5-7, ESV
  2. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, ESV
  3. Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. – 1 Peter 2:12, ESV
  4. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. – Mark 7:21-22, ESV
